Alongside our Clegg Hammer test kit and Shear Tester, we can assess every aspect of your surface and continuously monitor results. These results are accessible through an App that provides detailed information on surface compaction, depth, moisture levels, and shear test outcomes. The shear value measures the grip of the surface, evaluating the force needed to slide a hoof through it under load, ensuring safety for your horse. It tests whether the equestrian surface or footing has excessive grip or excess slip both of which can injure a horse.
With this data, Equus can offer both short- and long-term solutions to maintain your surface, ensuring consistency and longevity.
