Available in a variety of styles KOMFORTEX® surfacing systems are the ideal floor coverings for all paddocks, open and free-runnings, stables and shelters, as well as for stable walkways, wash bays and entrances to arenas.
Installed in an offset tile system, these lightweight yet durable rubber KOMFORTEX® blocks offer excellent dimensional stability and security, offering a safe, slip-resistant surface for both horses and humans.
The slabs offer a great option for walkways as they offer a level of protection for horses’ joints, tendons and hooves with their superior shock (and noise) absorption. When used in wash-bays, KOMFORTEX® slabs do not become slippery when wet and are also resistant to cold, urine and acid. KOMFORTEX® may be a sensible option for the provision of safe all-weather areas – providing a dry and comfortable area for turnout, or for vets and farriers for example.
